MATT BENTLEY ALBUM LAUNCH

Burnley-born and now Leeds-based, Matt Bentley has announced the launch of his much anticipated 12 track album “Entropy” will be held at the Grove in Leeds on Saturday 3rd April. The doors open at 7-30pm and admission is only £3-00 for what promises to be an excellent evenings entertainment, with the impressive Liz Reynolds being the support act.

ALBUM REVIEW
Comparisons would be unfair, as Matt is a multi-influenced, but highly original singer-songwriter who produces quality track after track on this his latest album. With each track standing and excelling on its own merit, my own particular favourites are the foot-tapping “The Old Town” and “Worm” to the intricate word-play of “Little Johny”. For the instrumental lovers there are the impeccably played guitar tracks “Instrumental in A-Minor” and “Instrumental #2”. This is an excellent album from a very talented performer who should dominate the local (and beyond) music-scene for many, many years to come.
