LEGEND GURF MORLIX RETURNING TO LEEDS

The term “Back by public demand” is arguably one of the most used PR lines in the music business, however on rare occasions the statement is true. Such an occasion is the return to Yorkshire and the Santiago venue for the legendary American singer-songwriter Gurf Morlix. Having featured at the venue in May 2009 as part of his European tour to promote the release of his 5th album, "Last Exit To Happyland," Gurf returns for what promises to be another spectacular promotion from the Hee Haw Sessions.

A professional musician since 1966, Gurf has spread his talents far and wide since his departure from the Lucinda Williams band after 11 years. As one of the best guitar players and producers of Americana music in the world, the list of albums he has worked on, either as producer or multi-instrumentalist is endless; Sam Baker, Steve Earle, Dave Alvin, Tom Russell, Ray Wyle Hubard, Slaid Cleaves, Jim Lauderdale, Peter Case and Warren Zevon to name just a few.
