YORKSHIRE'S FAVOURITE BAD PENNY

Yorkshire’s favourite foreign band, Bad Penny, have now released their tribute to Rory Gallagher CD. The album, titled, “Return To The G-Man” is rapidly becoming a 2008 “must have” CD, both for fans of Bad Penny and Rory Gallagher aficionados’. Released in late May, at the Rory Gallagher tribute event at Wiesbaden, the album consists of Rory Gallagher classics, played in the very unique Bad Penny style. Their high-powered and energetic gigs, have given them a fan-base throughout Europe, as they confirm themselves as one of the most entertaining bands to tour. The band, take their audiences on a journey through the musical map of Europe, playing Folk-Rock in an East European style, to the more Blues and Rock style of Western Europe. Consisting of Ola Van Sander (Vocals, Guitar and Dobro) Axel Hennig (Vocals and Bass) and Peter Moller (Piano, Keyboards and Accordian) the band hope to be back touring these shores in the future, much to the delight of the West Yorkshire music-lovers.
