THE QUITE REBELLION - THINNEST HOPES MAGNIFIED

To proclaim Shaun T Hunter as the Shakespeare of song-writing, is completely vindicated with the release later this month of the Quite Rebellion’s first album “Thinnest hopes magnified”.

The deepness and substance of the lyrics throughout the 11 track album, is the perfect platform for Shaun’s incredible vocal dexterity, add the musicianship of Jay Stannard (Cajon/Drums/Keys/Bass/FX/Engineer) and Liz Nicholas (Flute/Clarinet/Recorders of all shapes and sizes) and the musical symmetry is complete.

The three musicians, armed with instruments, a 16 track recorder, a laptop and three microphones, travelled to play to appreciative ears in houses of different shapes and sizes throughout the UK. Starting in Helensburgh, across to the Holy Island Lindisfarne, down to Lowestoft, pushed by a south easterly breeze onwards to Hastings, west to the Pendine Bay, concluding in Keswick to create an album, which is at times haunting and dramatical, and at other times gives a feeling of flowing on a river of musically fresh and clear freedom, which cleanses the system of the over-hyped blandness that engulfs much of 21st century life.

This is definitely a must-buy album from a singer-songwriter, who is always stretching the musical boundaries of himself and fellow band members, allowing the listener to un-earth lyrical gems with each new play.
