SNAKE DAVIS BACK IN LEEDS

Snake Davis, now established as one of the UK’s leading saxophonists, returns to Leeds on July 3rd to play at the Garforth Arts Festival at The Holiday Inn, Wakefield Road, Garforth. I remember seeing Snake Davis busking in Leeds city centre 20+ years ago while he was studying at The Leeds College of Music. Since those humble beginnings he has become one of the biggest names on the British music scene. He has been the resident saxophonist on “Tonight with Jonathon Ross” and played with the likes of James Brown, Smokey Robinson, Chaka Khan and many more. His TV appearances has seen him accompanying the Eurythmics, M-People and B*Witched and also played on record and tour for Lisa Stansfield and M-People. Snake Davis will be on stage at 8-30pm and will play alto, soprano, baritone and tenor saxes, flutes, whistle and shakuhachi. Tickets are £10 and £8 concessions.
